Distribution Hall

Distribution Hall is an event space and production house in East Austin.


Originally constructed in 1950 as a distribution center for imported German beer, this mid-century warehouse has been thoughtfully reimagined as a creative gathering space for all.

The inspiration behind DH1500 is a combination of Bauhaus and mid-century modern motifs. The color palette and typography were carefully chosen to preserve some of the signature elements that were found before renovating the venue.

Mural

At Distribution Hall's location, we saw an opportunity for a wall that was sorely unloved. We decided to do something about that.

We asked internationally renown artist, Mark Hilton if he could reinterpret one of his works  into a 100 ft x 14 ft mural.

He said, "hold my beer".
